The approach championed by Granados Systems & Processes Consulting, “Aligning Processes, Systems and People toward success” is a 4 steps methodology to help a company achieving its goals.
- .
- The First Step is identifying what success looks like for a specific company, at the present moment, not what it was many years ago, or back when the company was founded.
- The Second Step is analyzing internal processes need revision to ensure they are aligned with today’s definition of success and re-designing where needed with a value added perspective.
- The Third Step is aligning the Information Systems to ensure they support the redesigned processes.
- The Fourth Step is revising the process for setting performance metrics, evaluations, incentives, etc. to get the people on-board with the vision of success. Although people are the most important component to align in the search for success, attempting to align people when the processes and the systems aren’t supportive of the goals can just bring limited success or even some times can bring only frustration
